high school sweethearts, proud Wisconsinites, and now co-founders of Banner + Thread, a faith-forward apparel brand rooted in the promise of love that goes before us.

From the moment we got married, we dreamed of creating something together that pointed people back to Christ — maybe a devotional, a book, a podcast. Over the years, life was full, but the dream never left. Then one day, a little Etsy t-shirt shop turned into something more.

Amanda had always had a creative spark (and a love for a good Comfort Colors tee), and Jarrod brought a pastoral heart and deep love for theology. Together, we started designing pieces that weren’t just cute — they were covered in purpose.

Our name comes from Song of Solomon 2:4 -

“I am my beloved’s and He is mine, His banner over me is love.”

It’s more than just a song lyric or a verse — it’s a declaration of identity, marriage, and mission. It reminds us that God leads in love, surrounds us in love, and calls us to wear that love outwardly.

At Banner + Thread, we’re here to create more than clothing.
We want to create conversation starters — threads that point back to truth. Whether it’s a bold declaration or a quiet encouragement, each design is made with intentionality, storytelling, and a whole lot of prayer.

We live in Wisconsin with our 11-year-old daughter, three dachshunds (yes, three!), and two cats. Our house is a little chaotic, a little loud, often covered in dog hair — but it’s full of grace, laughter, and a steady reminder that God can do beautiful things in the middle of the mess. We hope our brand reflects that same kind of honesty and warmth.
